The Security Ministry
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe". (Proverbs 18:10)
The Security Ministry was formed for the protection and safety of our congregation. This ministry is responsible for keeping Metropolitan and its' surroundings free from vandals and others who do not come to worship Christ. This ministry also provides an arm of assistance to the body for any difficulties they may encounter while on the church property.
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that "we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Through this ministry we are mindful of who we serve and strive daily to share His love with others. For we know that the best way to fight sin, is to fight on our knees. Serving in ministry is one of the ways that we render unto God the things that are His.
Please pray for our ministry as we serve the Lord, by serving His people (1 Thessalonians 5:25).
